Nampa, ID; July 28, 2009: Technology Alignment, Inc., a global provider of world class solutions, announced the Made In Idaho website and search engine. The new website allows visitors to search for products actually manufactured in Idaho and also companies that resell products made in the State. Technology Alignment provides open source software freely such as Pioneer Linux and it's HIATLANTIS open source version of the Contract Relationship Management software or CRM. The company not only believes in the open source model and community service, but also in putting the concept to the task in areas other than software.

"Technology Alignment develops both closed and open source software while Made In Idaho is based on the open source concept." stated Dianne E. Ursini, Technology Alignment, Inc. CEO. "The concept of Made In Idaho allows us to provide services freely based on the open source model allowing companies to share information freely and consumers to find products and companies quickly."

In looking for a sticker for it's PBX systems that are manufactured in Idaho, the company found that there were no organizations currently promoting products actually manufactured in the state. Wanting to promote the fact that the product is literally manufactured in Idaho along with other products developed such as Pioneer Linux, the company decided it needed to start the Made In Idaho project. Made In Idaho will be an extension of The Main Street Project scheduled to be released later this year. The Main Street Project will be similar to Made In Idaho, but will be nationwide and also based on the open source concept.

There are no annual memberships and the company hosts the website along with maintaining the search engine. As other promotional tools charge annual membership fees and costs for promotion, the new website is totally free and accepts no donations. The same will be true of The Main Street Project.

Kade Price, VP of Development stated, "... the next step was to create a website and search engine for people who wanted to support companies that manufacture in the great State of Idaho while making it entirely free and staffed with volunteers". Price also added, "With the state unemployment rate also raising it allows companies within the state to promote each other and in turn provide growth and more jobs".

Kade is a native of Idaho and was born in Malad while Dianne was born in Connecticut and continued to migrate West and landing in Idaho from Wyoming. Dianne believes she found a home not only for her business but also for herself. Kade hopes to move back to Malad one day and open an expansion office for Technology Alignment.

The new website is live and ready to accept additional entries. If you are interested in participating in Made In Idaho or The Main Street Project, it is recommended that you visit http://www.madeinidaho.org or call 208-697-5566.
